The University of Auckland Horticulture Club aims to hold a terrarium making event.
This event encourages participants to build their own closed terrarium.
Often we have glass jars lying around our house waiting to be used. One of the ways the Horticulture Club reuses such jars are by making a self-sustained ecosystem also known as a terrarium.
We encourage attendees to be sustainable and bring their own jars, but we will also provide some which will have been sourced from local op-shops.
The evening will begin with a warm welcome and introduction to the event. Attendees will be guided throughout the evening to build their own unique terrarium to take home. Snacks and drinks will be provided! The University of Auckland Horticulture Club looks forward to Ecofest 2026!
