City Centre Network Meeting
Founded in 2013, the City Centre Community Network brings together community organisations, socially focused groups and local people who are passionate about Auckland’s city centre.
The network provides a space to connect, share knowledge and resources, collaborate, and develop community-led responses to local opportunities and challenges.
We are working towards a revitalised city centre where people feel included and valued, community knowledge is shared, and strong relationships exist between people, organisations and the whenua.
An important focus of the network is community preparedness. This means not only responding to current needs, but also building the relationships, resources and community infrastructure needed for the future.
The network also continues to develop this website as a practical resource for everyone who calls the city centre home. Here, you can find community events, Council services, local groups, volunteering opportunities, family activities, accessibility information, safe spaces, support services, and guidance for developing community initiatives.

Network meetings are an opportunity to meet others working in the city centre, exchange updates, share ideas and explore opportunities to work together. Meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month, from 12pm to 1.30pm, at:
Ellen Melville Centre | 2 Freyberg Place, Auckland City Centre
Community organisations, local residents and anyone interested in contributing to a connected and inclusive city centre are welcome to attend.
