City Centre Network Meeting
Who is the City Centre Network?
This meeting has been running since 2013. It’s a chance to network, share and co-create alongside organisations and individuals in the central city who are passionate about community and working on…
‘Preparedness’ – not just being able to respond and react to needs of our central city community, but also being ahead of curve. Ready to welcome, ready to illuminate supports and resources, ready with community infrastructure. Supporting in the present, preparing for the future.
We are working towards… A revitalising central city, where there is a wealth of knowledge and every person feels included and valued for who they are. A central city that has a strong sense of connectedness, where relationship ties are strong between people, among organisations, and with people and the land/whenua.
The meeting is held every fourth Thursday of the month from 12pm - 1.30pm at Ellen Melville Centre, 2 Freyberg Place, Auckland.
Expression of Interest – City Centre Community Network 2026
Auckland Council is inviting Expressions of Interest from individuals, groups, or organisations to host and facilitate the City Centre Community Network from January to December 2026.
If you are passionate about Auckland’s city centre community and keen to play a key role in bringing people together, sharing information, and fostering connections — we’d love to hear from you.
Closing date: 5:00pm, Friday 22 August 2025
