Upcycled Fashion with The ReCreators

  • Central City Library 46 Lorne Street Auckland, Auckland, 1010 New Zealand (map)

Fashion can be fun and sustainable.

Join us for an exciting school holidays programme with The ReCreators, aligned with our fashion exhibition, 'That's So Last Century - What We Wore 1950s-1990s.' Learn about the fashion trends in Aotearoa and create your own upcycled fashion from upcycled materials.

Redesign t-shirts in the style of the 1980s, create a 1960s inspired item or imagine and create your own futuristic design.

This workshop is run by The ReCreators at the Central City Library and is perfect for children aged 5-12. Parents or guardians are required to stay with children under 14.

No materials necessary, all you need to bring is your creativity and the holiday fun.

No bookings required, just walk in to enjoy the experience.

The event is run in 4 sessions; Tuesday April 16th, Thursday 18th, Tuesday 23rd and Friday 26th.

Timings: 11am - 1pm.
